Corrections Policy
If something here is wrong, we want to fix it quickly and say that we did. Financial accuracy is critical, and we take our responsibility to correct the record seriously.

Reporting an error
If you spot a factual error, a broken calculator, or an outdated partner term, please use the contact page to let us know. Include the page address (URL) and the specific claim you believe is incorrect. Providing supporting primary sources (like a link to GOV.UK) helps us act much faster.
How we respond to reports
We aim to investigate all factual error reports within 48 working hours. If the report is accurate, we will update the content immediately.
Material errors — those that could realistically affect a business owner's financial decision or tax calculation — are corrected as a priority. In these cases, the page will carry a visible correction note in its update log at the bottom of the article.
Minor errors — such as typos, broken links, or slight phrasing ambiguities that do not change the factual meaning — are corrected quietly and reflected only in the page's 'last reviewed' date.
Update logs and transparency
Substantive changes to commercial pages, offer terms, and tool formulas are always recorded in the page update log. We believe you have a right to see what changed and when, especially if you are relying on a tool for business planning.
Retractions
In the rare event that an entire premise of an article is proven to be fundamentally flawed or legally dangerous, we will unpublish the article and replace it with a clear retraction notice explaining why the content was removed.
